Come along for a relaxed and interesting walk through the beautiful East Point regeneration corridor and monsoon forest areas. Discover some of the natural beauty of East Point while learning about the work being done to restore and protect these special environments.
We're excited to have Emma Smith, Environmental Scientist and Coordinator of Environment and Climate Change at Darwin City Council, joining us to chat about the regeneration project. This is a great opportunity to hear about what's happening behind the scenes, ask questions and learn more about the environmental work happening right here in Darwin.
The walk will cover approximately 3.5 km and take around 1–1.5 hours, at a comfortable pace.
We'll hopefully squeeze in a little water stop along the way, depending on the group, and for those keen to keep the morning going, we're proposing a well-earned coffee at The Cool Spot afterwards!
To register for this walk log in with your membership account and register. An email with contact details and exact meeting spot will be emailed directly to you.
