Multi day pack walk along a beautiful creek in the south of Litchfield National Park. 3 nights of water side campsites.
We have two 4WD's already organised for this trip, with spaces remaining for 5 walkers!
The total cost for this trip is $180 (non-refundable).
This will cover: fuel and transport to hike start point (via Daly River Road, approx 2h30min), off-track hiking and camping permit for 3 nights and also includes evening meals!
This walk is a great opportunity to try multi day bushwalking! Co-led by long-time club member and No Traces Bushwalking owner Sebastien - if you'd like to try walks longer-than-day walks, both your transport and your evening meals will be provided on this hike - taking the "what will I eat for dinner?" out of the logistics for you!
No Traces Bushwalking is (you guessed it) "no traces" - joining this group walk is a great way to learn about respecting our national parks and truly leaving no trace.
What you need:
Adequate fitness, balance and coordination to be able to carry a pack on uneven terrain (no trail in these parts!)
Lightweight tent, sleeping bag and mattress.
Suitable footwear, and sun smart clothes.
Your own breakfast (tea/coffee), lunch and snacks - a bowl, cup and cutlery.
As dinner (and morning hot water) is provided, you won't need to carry your own stove.
