Leave Darwin around lunchtime on Sat 11th April, spend the night in Jabiru so we can get an earlier start on Sunday 12th April.
Return to vehicles mid arvo on Tues 14th April to return to Darwin that evening.
Beautiful Kakadu landscape - stone country and creeks.
Approx 8km walk from car to a base camp site we will use for 2 nights.
Some off track hiking experience would be preferred to do this walk.
The terrain is not too challenging in terms of huge distance or hills - mostly flat after the first ascent up on top of escarpment. Mostly rocky open woodland and stone country. But it can be a bit challening or technical for those not used to hiking off-track and only using trails.... There will be lots of rocks, uneven ground and possibly a fair bit of water around.

There will also be a deposit required for this walk - $50 to reserve your spot - before 7th April.
This will go toward fuel and camp fees in Jabiru for the first night.
Two spots remain in one vehicle, or preference given to someone will to drive in their vehicle (4WD required for creek crossing just before Kubara carpark).
