The permit for this walk is still pending with a tentative approval. This is due to some internal conversations with Parks and Traditional Owners so the permit is still only a tentative approval and there is a high chance it will not happen. If you have ever put a permit in for Kakadu this is how it works and you may not know until days before.

However with weeks to go and time off needing taking you can now register for this walk by emailing Amanda at chocs98@hotmail.com. There will be a $100 mostly non-refundable deposit for this walk. This money goes towards your fuel costs. There will be a refund should we manage to replace your spotr. Or if the fuel costs come out to less than $100pp. This deposit is based off driving to Dinner creek. Also if you have a 4WD you can bring please let Amanda know. There will not be a refund if there is a location change except for fuel cost discrepency. If you register for this walk you understand it might not be to Dinner Creek.

If the permit is not approved instead we will go to an exploratary walk down in a new area in Silkwood. This makes this walk grade a very difficult walk. We don't know the water or the toughness of the terrain. In this case to register for this walk you must have previous strenous walk experience. Make sure you put your previous walk experience in the email. As well as the word banana in the subject line so we can be sure you have read everything in this blurb.
