Remote first aid training for members

Published Wed 27 Sep 2023

Darwin Bushwalking Club members successfully completed remote first aid training last weekend. This 2-day course is specifically designed around bushwalking in the NT, and the types of issues that we would come across. Thank you to the NT Government’s Community Benefit Fund Minor Community Grant scheme Jodie Ranford from Ready to Respond, and our committee member Cheryl for making this possible.

On another note, we have a vacancy in our committee (of 6) who meet about once a month – if you’d like to come on board and get involved in supporting our members and the club with great activities, please send a message to our President Rick Bishop at 0421 639 702 or email Scott Campbell at Scott.Campbell@cdu.edu.au. Cheers!
